Raw, murky and melodic. Bleak, harsh and unforgiving like the stench of death in Somma battle trenches. This is such a short but powerful record. Looking forward for future release!

Some Ancient Demon, some horned Baphomet gore spangled, Satan sin-encrusted itself stirs this black metal noise-cannon, and 'tis noisy, you'll notice, as some lightning tentacle snaps your arm off around the 1:20 mark of "Shock Troops".

While the vocals are okay, but not great, the riffs and melodies do have a certain power, drive and hypnotic quality which makes this album fun to listen to. There and in the inclusion of calmer, catchy elements from goth lies the strength of this release. A few screams as well as occasional clean singing add variety, though it could be more voice-wise, as there lies the weak spot of the album. The solo on track 4 though! Pure joy. Entleiber
I fucking love Kommodus! They singlehandedly got me into raw black metal. This is not an easy listen, but it struck just the right chord with me. It might with you too. Tons of little melodies on the dl. Vocals spit pure red mana Onanjath
